Loading... Please wait...Relay for Life is an annual event in which participants recognize cancer survivors and raise money through the American Cancer Society for support services and research. The event begins one afternoon and ends the following dawn. During that time, teams and individuals continue to walk on a circular "route" to illustrate that the journey toward the end of cancer won't end until cancer itself has been eliminated.
In June of 2010, I participated in our local Relay for Life event. The video below documents my personal experience. I have designed a bookmark exclusively for this effort. You may purchase bookmarks for $5 each either through Curves of Elgin (IL) 1016 S. McLean Blvd. or by contacting me using the form below. An order blank will be sent to you by email which you can return with your payment. Please remember that payment for bookmark orders must be made payable to the American Cancer Society.
